Osaka 5
Considered pioneers in the modern-day denim industry, these highly specialized and knowledgeable Japanese brands became known as the Osaka Five. Denime, Warehouse, Studio D’Artisan, Fullcount and Evisu revived the greatness of iconic blue jean standards around the late 80s, at a moment when manufacturing practices became mass-minded, therefore abandoning their original quality and utility. Through a commitment to hand-dyed indigo processes, the reconditioning of obsolete looms, and intricate weaving techniques, the Osaka Five reinterpreted the iconic blue jean into durable garments that stand the test of time. To us, these brands and their products represent the Future Vintage.
